After you print your healthcare directive, carefully follow the included instructions. Your Directive will not be complete and effective until you have signed it, AND it is either witnessed by 2 people OR notarized.
After creating your healthcare directive, make sure to store it in a safe place, give a copy to your healthcare agent, and let your loved ones know how to access the document in an emergency.
A healthcare directive is only one very important part of your estate and protection plan, other legal documents are necessary for your full protection and the ease of your loved ones. If you or a loved one have not created a full estate plan we invite you to explore our website and watch our educational videos to learn more.
These are challenging times, but please know that we are here to answer any questions you have about estate planning or handling a loved one’s final affairs. If there’s anything we can do to help, please contact us at 916-241-9661 or by email at email@example.com.
